Dra-mah no more

I'm listening to what my itunes radio calls "Mellow Jazz". Its making me miss the city. What I would really like now is to have a martini and some tapas and watch the city lights flicker in the reflection of the water. It does not matter if its Auckland harbor or the Singapore River. I guess I need a little break. But a test beckons tomorrow and an essay is calling out my name.

Ah well. The first 8 weeks of this semester have been a long roller coaster ride - emotionally, mentally and physically. Now that the drama is over, its back to what I would call normality - thumbing through thick books, eating and exercising wisely and sleeping at 10.30pm. Well, here's to an academically intensive three months. Hopefully, with a bit of good food and loads of marvelous friends..

My first set of dried flowers

On a side note, thought I'll share a good sturdy quote a friend of mine snail mailed me.
"Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself." - Harvey Fierstein.
